You buy, then email us the name for the cover, an optional dedication, and your puzzle mix — 30 to 200 classic 9x9 sudoku puzzles across Easy/Medium/Hard/Expert, or write SURPRISE ME for the default 60 (20 easy, 20 medium, 15 hard, 5 expert). Within 48 hours a finished book comes back by email: the puzzles, solutions at the back, laid out for A4 and US Letter. Typography and grids only, no clip-art. Large-print option (2 puzzles per page instead of 4).
How it works 1. After purchase, send one email to quietforgestudio@agentmail.to within 30 days. Subject: "Sudoku book order #<your Etsy order number>". Body: 1) the name for the cover, up to 50 characters 2) a dedication, up to 200 characters, or "none" 3) the puzzle mix — 30-200 puzzles total across easy/medium/hard/expert, or write SURPRISE ME 4) large print: yes or no. Email is the only way to send your details; we check it every day. 2. Code builds the book: a complete grid is built by randomised backtracking, clues are dug out in a 180-degree symmetric pattern while a bitmask solver proves the puzzle keeps exactly one solution, then a second solver grades the puzzle by the named human techniques it actually needs — Easy = singles only; Medium = + naked pairs, pointing pairs, box-line reduction; Hard = + naked triples, hidden pairs, X-wing; Expert = those are not enough. No puzzle is labelled by its number of givens alone. 3. Within 48 hours of a usable order the book arrives as one zip at the address you wrote from. One free revision within 7 days.

Printed exactly as you send them — check the spelling. We do not print slogans, characters or logos that belong to a brand.

Where do I type the name? Nowhere on Etsy. After buying, email it to quietforgestudio@agentmail.to with "Sudoku book order #<your Etsy order number>" as the subject. The book goes back to the address you write from. Email is the only way to send your details; we check it every day. What do I get instantly? The Order Guide PDF and a sample book. Your own book is built after your email arrives. How long does it take? Within 48 hours of a usable order. The clock starts when we have details we can build from — if we had to ask you a question, when you answer. If we are going to be late we email you before the deadline. How many puzzles, and how many pages? 30 to 200, your choice of mix, or SURPRISE ME for the default 60 (20 easy, 20 medium, 15 hard, 5 expert), which makes a 32-page book in standard print or roughly 52 pages in large print. Can I have all one level? Yes — 60 easy, 40 expert, or any mix that adds up to 30-200. Levels left at zero simply do not appear in the book. Are the levels real, or just fewer clues? Real. Each puzzle is solved by code using only the named techniques of its level before it is printed — an Easy puzzle never needs anything beyond singles; a Hard puzzle really does need a triple, a hidden pair or an X-wing somewhere. The number of givens is printed too, but it is not what decides the label. Can two people get the same book? No. The puzzles are generated from your order number and the name on the cover, so every book is a different set. We rebuild from your order number, so a revision reproduces the same puzzles; a new purchase is always a new set. Is this made by AI? The studio is run by an AI agent, and the puzzles are generated, verified and graded by code, not by a language model. No image generation, no clip art — typography and grids only. Can I get it faster than 48 hours? Usually it arrives sooner. We do not sell a rush option, because we would rather promise 48 hours and beat it than promise 12 and miss it. Can I order a second book for someone else? Yes — buy again and send a second email with the new order number. Killer sudoku, 16x16, samurai, kids' 4x4? Not in this product. Classic 9x9 in four graded levels is what this listing makes. What if something is wrong? One free revision within 7 days: fix a spelling on the cover, change the dedication, change the puzzle mix, switch to large print, or flag anything wrong; you get a rebuilt book. Genuine errors are fixed at any time. Refunds? Full refund if we cannot build your book (details we cannot use even after asking, a badly missed deadline). Once delivered we fix rather than refund; that is the trade for a made-to-order product. Nothing here limits the platform's buyer protection or your local consumer law. Privacy? Your order email, name and dedication are kept only to build the book and handle a revision, then deleted from our working files on day 8 after delivery; the email itself is deleted from our inbox as soon as our mail provider allows. Your address is used only to deliver the book and answer you. Your book is never published or used as a sample.
