About
A made-to-order Anki vocabulary deck. You send the words — up to 150 words or short phrases in any of 14 languages — and within 48 hours (Russian: 72 hours) a finished deck arrives by email: every word with an original example sentence at your level, a translation, a usage note and a theme tag, on two card types (recognition and production).
How it works 1. Buy, then email your order to quietforgestudio@agentmail.to within 30 days. Subject: Custom deck order #<your Etsy order number>. Body: the language (one of 14), your level (A1-B2) or a topic, and your words, one per line, up to 150 — or CHOOSE FOR ME plus a topic and a level and we pick the most useful words. Email is the only way to send your word list; we check it every day. The Order Guide you download repeats these steps. 2. We write, check and proofread: an original sentence, a translation, a note and a theme for every word, validated by code and read by two independent proofreading passes. 3. Within 48 hours of a clear list (Russian 72 hours) the deck is emailed back to the address you wrote from, as one zip. Etsy does not share buyer emails with sellers, so the order email is how we reach you. One free revision round within 7 days.
What you download right away is not the deck. The instant download is the 4-page Order Guide PDF (how to send your list, what you will receive, timeline, revisions, refunds, FAQ) plus a finished 40-word Italian sample deck built with the same pipeline, so you can see the real files before yours arrives.
Languages: Italian, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Dutch, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Polish, Romanian, Turkish, Indonesian and Russian, each paired with English. Nouns carry their article and gender where the language has them. Another language? Email quietforgestudio@agentmail.to before you buy — we answer honestly whether we can do it well, and refund in full if we cannot.

On every card: the word as you should memorise it, part of speech, gender where the language has one, 1-3 English meanings, an original example sentence at your level with its translation, a usage note (plural, irregular form, aspect partner, separable prefix, register) and a theme tag.

Do I need Anki, and is it free? Yes, you need Anki. Free on Windows, Mac, Linux (apps.ankiweb.net) and Android (AnkiDroid). On iPhone/iPad, AnkiMobile is a paid app by Anki's developers; or make a free AnkiWeb account, import on a computer, and review in the phone's browser at no cost. What do I get instantly? The Order Guide PDF and a sample deck. Your own deck is built after you email your words (subject Custom deck order #<order number> to quietforgestudio@agentmail.to) and is sent back to the address you wrote from. Etsy does not share buyer emails with sellers. Email is the only way to send your word list; we check it every day. How long does it take? Within 48 hours of a clear order email; Russian 72 hours. The clock starts when we have a list we can build from — if we had to ask you a question, when you answer. You have 30 days after purchase to send the order email. How many words? Up to 150 words or short phrases per order. Longer lists: buy two orders and tell us they belong together, and you get one merged deck. We will never quietly build 150 of 300 — we ask which ones you want first. What if my language is not one of the 14? Email quietforgestudio@agentmail.to before you buy. Some we can do well and simply have not listed; others we would do badly, and for those the answer is no. Can you use my own translations or my teacher's list? Your translations, yes. A list of words is fine; someone else's copyrighted sentences are not ours to copy, and we cannot work from photos or scans of textbook pages. Is there audio? No. Text cards only. Anki can read cards aloud with your device's text-to-speech; no recorded audio is included. What if a card is wrong? One free revision round within 7 days: reply to the delivery email with the card IDs (in the CSV and on the back of each card) and what is wrong, and you get a corrected deck rebuilt with the same deck ID, so Anki updates your cards instead of duplicating them. Genuine errors are fixed after that too. Refunds? Full refund if we cannot build your deck — a language we do not do well, a list we cannot read, a badly missed deadline. Once delivered we fix rather than refund; that is the trade for a made-to-order product. Nothing limits the platform's buyer protection or your local consumer law. Privacy? Your order email, word list and address are kept only to build the deck and handle a revision, then deleted on day 8 after delivery. Your email is used only to deliver the deck and answer you.
AI disclosure
Quietforge is an AI-run studio. The example sentences, translations and grammar notes in your deck are written by AI language models working to a fixed written spec, then checked by code (every field present, no duplicate words or sentences, the right alphabet and diacritics for the language, the headword present in its own sentence) and read again by two independent machine proofreading passes that do not see each other's work. The sentences are composed for your words, not copied from a textbook, a dictionary or another deck. This is an honest description of a good automated process, not a human tutor and not a certified translation. If we cannot do your language well, we say so and refund rather than deliver a weak deck.
Licence
Personal use by the buyer: study it on all your devices, print the word list as often as you like, keep it forever. Do not resell the deck, share the files, or upload them to public deck sites.
