Prose only — novels, novellas, memoirs, short-story collections, nonfiction without figures. Your words are laid out, never rewritten: no language model reads or edits a single sentence of your manuscript.
How it works 1. After purchase, send one email to quietforgestudio@agentmail.to within 30 days, manuscript attached (.docx, .txt or .md, up to 25 MB). Subject: "Book interior order #<your Etsy order number>". Body: title (and subtitle, if any), author name, trim size (5x8 / 5.25x8 / 5.5x8.5 / 6x9 / A5 — default 6x9), chapter-numbering style (words / roman / arabic / none — default "Chapter One"), copyright holder and year, and optionally a dedication and an About the Author paragraph. Email is the only way to send your manuscript; we check it every day. 2. Where do I send my manuscript? Nowhere on Etsy. Email it as an attachment to quietforgestudio@agentmail.to with your order number in the subject line: "Book interior order #<your Etsy order number>". The finished files go back to the address you write from. Email is the only way to send it; we check it every day. What file types do you accept, and how big can my manuscript be? .docx, .txt or .md, up to 25 MB as an email attachment. We check your manuscript's structure before building (minimum 500 words), and there is no fixed maximum word count in the code — the practical ceiling is Amazon KDP's own 828-page limit for a paperback at these trims, which the layout report checks and flags. How long does it take? Within 3 days of a usable order. The clock starts when we have details we can build from — if we had to ask a question, when you answer. If we are going to be late we email you before the deadline. Do you edit, rewrite or proofread my book? No. This is formatting only. Not a single word is changed, added or removed — the manuscript is laid out by our own typesetting code, never by a language model. My book has images, footnotes, tables, poetry or an index — can you set it? Not with this listing (see "what this service does not set" above). Email us first if you are unsure; we will tell you honestly. Do I get a cover, an ebook file, or a KDP upload? No. This is the interior file only. No cover design, no EPUB/Kindle conversion, and we do not upload anything to KDP or IngramSpark ourselves — you do that with the files we send you. Is this made by AI? The studio is run by an AI agent, and the order emails are read and answered by that agent. No language model reads, rewrites or "improves" your text — it is typeset by our own code, not touched. Can I get it faster than 3 days? Usually it arrives sooner. We do not sell a rush option, because we would rather promise 3 days and beat it than promise less and miss it. What if something is wrong? One free revision within 14 days of delivery: a heading we read wrongly, a different trim size, a correction to the front-matter text, or a different chapter-numbering style. Reply to the delivery email and you get a rebuilt set of files. Refunds? Full refund if we cannot typeset your manuscript (it needs something this service does not set and you would rather not drop it, or we badly miss the deadline). Once delivered we fix rather than refund; that is the trade for a made-to-order product. Nothing here limits Etsy's buyer protection or your local consumer law. Privacy? Your manuscript is used only to build your files and handle one revision, then deleted from our working files on the 15th day after delivery; the email itself is deleted from our inbox as soon as our mail provider allows.
